About Our Co-op
Learning As We Grow is a secular homeschool social co-op especially for children ages 7-13, in the Springfield, Missouri area. Younger siblings are always welcome. This is to ensure a cohesive group environment, consisting of children close in age, that can grow up together and create lifelong friendships.
There is no yearly tuition or fee to join. We want our group to be available to everyone, so we charge for events on a case by case basis.
We meet on Thursday, at 11:00 a.m.. Our events will range from anything such as park days to field trips to playdates and beyond.. Summer months of June, July and August we continue to get together for park days, playgroups and field trips. The Thursday events will be created/posted by the event coordinator, but any member is welcome to create events of their own, within the group Facebook page.
If you are interested in joining our co-op and/or being added to our waiting list, please use the contact form, and we will be in touch. All potential new members must attend one event, PRIOR to joining, to ensure the group is a good fit for your and your family. Once you join, we have a Facebook page, strictly for members, that you will be added to. That page includes all of our upcoming events/classes, as well as any other group info you may need.
